Canada, ON: Chronicle Brewing set to open on April 28 in Bowmanville
A new brewery with a name inspired by the owners love of mythology, fables, games, medieval fantasy, sci-fi, and more will be opening soon in Bowmanville, Canadian Beer News reported.
Chronicle Brewing is being established by founder Ted Paulsen, head brewer Jim Gorry (ex-Manantler Craft Brewing), and assistant brewer Allan Cowling. The group is currently working with a 4.7 hectolitre nanobrewing system, but plans to expand to a larger brewhouse later this year.
Originally planned to be called Canadian Parks Brewing a name that was used on a collaboration with Town Brewery released several weeks ago Chronicle is set to open on Saturday April 28th, with Paulsen telling Ontario Beverage Network that the initial line-up will include Idaho 7 dry hopped kettle sour, Robust Milk Porter, classic West Coast IPA, English Mild, American style Amber Wheat, and several others.
Chronicle Brewing is located at 422 Lake Road Unit 3 in Bowmanville.
